Teacher Appreciation

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at the kids school. I normally make the teacher a little something for them to take in and give to their teachers. I cheated a little bit this year with the gift as everything is shop bought. The pretty flower pots are from Michael's and I filled them with glass beads then I put pencils, cute post-it notes shaped like apples and a colorful little wind chime in them. The finishing touch was to tie ribbon around them.

The card I decided was something I just had to make and I chose to case my good friend Joani's flower pot card. Do you see a theme going on here. LOL. I found the instructions on how to make the pot on Splitcoast Stampers. The DP is from Stampin Up. The flowers are supposed to be sunflowers because they make me think of summer. They also remind me of the 7 foot ones we grew in our garden back in England.

Thanks for looking

Hugs
Nic
